Hello to all!
Not much going on our way this past week... The highlights of our week consisted of finally receiving our air-freighted luggage (remainder of our clothes), getting our first haircuts in Singapore, and tasting a Chinese Moon Cake.
We leave Saturday evening for London--neither of us has been. Jason has a week-long safety training class for
Ensco, outside of London (lucky for me). I know Jason is looking forward to spending a few days away from the shipyard. Thanks to the advice and recommendations given to us by family and friends, we have a pretty extensive itinerary planned for the week. Sunday we are hoping to tour as many sites as possible before Jason begins his class. Rain is predicted for most of the week, but the temperatures are supposed to be very cool, a welcome reprieve from the humidity and heat in Singapore. (This trip may be the only opportunity for us to don our sweaters and scarves for quite some time.) The flight from Singapore to London is
only 10 hours. For us, this flight should be a breeze compared to the 20+ hours of flying time we experienced en route from Louisiana to Singapore. I am sure to have plenty to blog about when we return :)
