In March, while waiting for warmer weather and spring, we visited a few Dutch brocantes or markets to treasure hunt. (Brocante is a French word meaning secondhand goods or markets.) Usually in the spring and fall, brocantes are common in towns and villages every weekend across Europe. One such market was held in an old church and another sprawled behind a castle. Here are a few photos from our jaunts and treasure hunts. You never know what you may find or where a sale will take you?! Just ask my husband!
