Happy Easter!

  Easter Sunday...so many reasons to celebrate!  We wish all of our family and friends back home a blessed and beautiful Easter.  He works in mysterious ways...  After Mass today, we met some new fellow Expat families--what a huge blessing for us! 
  My boys were all smiles with their Easter goodies this morning.  Graham was content with his plastic eggs and Jason could not have been happier to indulge in a few Cadbury eggs I smuggled into the country. 
  And the rejoicing continues... my parents arrive tomorrow morning in Rio and my cousin, Chamberlain arrived Friday.  So we are off to Rio this afternoon for a mini family reunion for the week.  AHHHHH--familiar faces!!!!

Graham's 10 Month Fun Facts

To think just two short months until our little boy's first birthday! 

 

A few of the highlights from this past month...

*He loves the pool or just being in water for that matter.  And, the sand too.

*He is still grasping the whole crawling on fours concept, prefering to army crawl.

*He can pull himself up on anything and everything.

*He is a curious nosey little guy and checks it all out!

*He can babble "ma ma" and "da da" and "hey"

*He is quite the daring one, crawling to the edge of our bed and then turns to see if we are watching.

*He hasn't tasted a veggie or fruit he hasn't liked. 

*He now has a tooth on top and two on bottom. 

*He will give you high five and can immitate any of Jason's silly gestures.

Graham and I toured the H. Stern Workshop of raw gemstones.  H. Stern is the world-renown jeweler, based out of Rio and founded in 1945.  No picture taking was allowed inside of the factory.

Graham went to Connor's birthday party Friday afternoon

Saturday we had a family outing to the beaches of Buzios for a day trip and to admire the beautiful seascapes.

I loved the architecture of this quaint little restaurant in Buzios

Jason was in his glory...he got to drive on a few "dirt roads" as we scouted around the hills/mountains on the island.
