Now that we are all settled into our home away from home, many of you have asked me to post pictures of our accommodations at Treetops.  Here they are:

This is the floor plan of our 2-bedroom unit.  I really miss having a washer/dryer...there is community wash room for the residents.

The Week in Pictures...London Holiday and Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix (Part I)

We are finally back home--not really! :)

Hopefully the rest of the week will be a little less hectic for us...  We arrived back in Singapore Saturday evening after spending the week in London. Sunday morning we attended Mass and then we were supposed to pack-up our apartment for our move to Treetops on Monday; but, jet-lag got the best of us that afternoon.   So, we opted to rest instead and thank goodness we did--we were up late Sunday evening attending the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix.  Luckily, we were able to move to our new apartment Monday afternoon, thus giving us time to pack our belongings.  I think we are planning to take it easy the rest of the week!

London was quite lovely and so was the weather!  Jason was even able to spend two days touring with me, enjoying many of the sites in the city as well.  We especially enjoyed the charm and historical elements throughout London.  Spending time in Singapore and then London is really like going from the future back into a bygone era.

Sometime this week, we will post pictures from the Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix.  Jason may have to blog about the race, since I am a novice when it comes to car racing.
Until then, here are several pictures from our holiday in London.

Edith Cavell is an ancestor of mine.  She was a nurse during WWI and aided Allied soldiers in fleeing from the Germans.  Consequently, Edith was executed by the Germans for her actions.
