Fun on the Farm

  On a recent crisp, fall afternoon, we stopped off in Convent at my Uncle Louie and Uncle Mark's farm along river road to let the boys "play".  With Caroline napping in the truck, Jason and Graham rode the "big green tractors" in the cane fields, while I stood back and relished the moments as my heart melted!  Making memories...thanks Uncle Louie and Uncle Mark!!!

So Long Singapore!

A few last family memories before we said goodbye to Singapore.  I am already thinking we will have to take Caroline back one day to see the country she where she was born.  In the meantime, we will spend some much anticipated time back in the U.S. before starting our new journey in The Netherlands.

Graham's Singapore School Days

Graham's Singapore School Days Memories

First day of school.  It took a while, but eventually morning drop-offs got easier.

It was a perfect marriage.  Well okay, so I am exaggerating.   But I don't think we could have selected a better school for Graham--no shoes, no problem!

This picture is deceiving...I think the teachers were more upset to see Graham go.  I shed a tear or two, too!  The teachers at Kiddiwinkie have been so nurturing and sweet to Graham.  All of the teachers were taking pictures of Graham during his last few days of school.  Jason and I were so fortunate to have had this little gem within walking distance from our apartment.  Graham seemed to enjoy his school days or as he often told me when I asked how his day was at school--he chimed, "Nice!" And so, that sums up our first international school experience.

Ms. Radiah, Graham's teacher gave this to him has a little keepsake with sweet little notes from the teachers and helpers.  It should be noted many of the pictures were provided by the teachers from Kiddiwinkie.

Caroline's One Month Fun Facts

I figured it was about time I gave Caroline her own blog post, since I have failed to do so in the past five weeks since she was born.  

Here are some of Caroline's first month fun facts:

*Big brother Graham has given her the nickname, "lion" as he cannot quite pronounce "Caroline".  

*At two weeks, she accompanied Jason and me to the U.S. Embassy in Singapore for passport, U.S. birth certificate, and social security card processing.  By three weeks, she had her passport.  (In case you are wondering, she is a U.S. citizen and can still run for President one day even though she wasn't born in the U.S.)

*According to Jason's reliable fish scale, Caroline has gained almost two pounds since she was born.   I should also note, in Singapore her weight/height is measured in kilograms and centimeters.  (And yes, the fish scaled has traveled with us from the U.S. to Brazil to Singapore, and it will be shipped to The Netherlands. Ha!)

*She is quite alert, but also loves her beauty sleep.

*Dr. Yip Yip (Yip Yeng Yoong) gave Caroline the all-clear to fly home during her recent 4-week check-up.
