Paris Perfect!

 Bonjour!

We celebrated our Easter holiday in PARIS!  With the little ones, touring was light and long lines and crowds avoided when possible;  but, that did not preclude us from chasing the charms that make Paris one of the most visited cosmopolitan capitals in the world.      From castles and cathedrals  to courtyards and chandeliers to carousels and cafes to the Champs-Elysees to culture and couture to champagne and croissants and to confections and cheese--our love affair with Paris has begun.   And oh yeah--the site of a soaring tower, high into the  Parisian skyline was enough to capture one little boy's heart and curiosity.    Hopefully, our little family will have a few more chapters to write in Paris...God-willing!

Spring Forward??

This past weekend we changed our clocks to spring forward.  Although the time changed, someone forgot to the tell the weather man to change the forecast too.  Old Man Winter is still lurking around, and quite frankly, we are so ready for warmer days and the bright sun and some Dutch tulips too.  (A spring sleet is falling as I write this post and it appears we will be donning scarfs and overcoats for Easter.)

Here are pictures from one of the lone spring days we had back in early March.   It was a pleasant tease!
