Caroline's One Month Fun Facts

I figured it was about time I gave Caroline her own blog post, since I have failed to do so in the past five weeks since she was born.

Here are some of Caroline's first month fun facts:

*Big brother Graham has given her the nickname, "lion" as he cannot quite pronounce "Caroline".
*At two weeks, she accompanied Jason and me to the U.S. Embassy in Singapore for passport, U.S. birth certificate, and social security card processing.  By three weeks, she had her passport.  (In case you are wondering, she is a U.S. citizen and can still run for President one day even though she wasn't born in the U.S.)
*According to Jason's reliable fish scale, Caroline has gained almost two pounds since she was born.   I should also note, in Singapore her weight/height is measured in kilograms and centimeters.  (And yes, the fish scaled has traveled with us from the U.S. to Brazil to Singapore, and it will be shipped to The Netherlands. Ha!)
*She is quite alert, but also loves her beauty sleep.
*Dr. Yip Yip (Yip Yeng Yoong) gave Caroline the all-clear to fly home during her recent 4-week check-up.
*Weight:  4.01kg
*Height:  54cm
*Head circumference: 37cm

Sweet Summertime in Singapore

Life lately for the Nugents...

He can spot a crane in the sky from a mile away.

Jammin' with Pop!

Playground love...

I just love this little picture Katy took of Graham!
She was such big help with him and he was heartbroken when she left.
Katy shared a few photos of her recent visit

Katy toured the Orchid Gardens

"Big Brother"

Miss Caroline Coyne arrived June 26.  Our American families suggest her birthday is June 25.    Either way, two days  of birthday celebrations can't be a bad thing.

Party of Four

Beyond blessed to have these two healthy children.

Sweet Caroline
Sweet Katy meeting Caroline.

Daddy's little girl!
Jason even hit the malls to make sure Caroline had a hint of pink in her closet when we arrived home.

So happy to have Gran B visit us!

Love this photo of Gran D and Graham

Yes, my child knows a famous drunken Aunt Penny tea cookie when he sees one...these festive 4th of July cookies were flown in from the USA especially for Graham August.
They are quite delicious I may add.  (Thank you, Aunt Penny!)

Dad celebrated his 60th birthday with his two grandchildren.

Singapore really comes to life at night.

Jason took Dad on a field trip to check out the shipyard and new rig.

Dad was amazed by all of the high rises and architecture.

Chinatown temple

St. Andrews Anglican Church is over 150 years old and has been struck by lightening twice.

We couldn't let them leave Singapore without trying the famous pepper crab.

Those lips...
Graham can't quite pronounce "Caroline", so he just calls her "lion".

Mom and Dad took this photo of the city from the Marina Bay Sands.

Summertime is in full swing in Singapore, but our stay here is beginning to sunset...
