Sibling Love

So I sent out a few Valentine's Day greetings to our immediate family members...sometimes the process is more enlightening than the actual card...the proof is below.  Thank goodness for digital photography!  (My poor mom would go through rolls and rolls of film trying to capture a single picture worthy of sending for our annual Christmas card.)

A Snow Angel

Regrettably, I didn't have any photos of baby Caroline from last week's snowfall.  This morning when I awoke to another winter white morning, I quickly fed and dressed Caroline, so we could have  a little photo fun in the snow before the backdrop melts.  I am sure some of you may gasp at the pictures of our seven month old on the ground in the snow, but, rest assured her Eskimo suit is water resistant and toasty (we were back inside in five minutes).

And if you were wondering about Graham--I did have to shoo him back inside a few times.  He did come out twice in a t-shirt, diaper, and rubber boots... (I guess Jason and I have one beach baby and one snow baby.)

Have a great weekend and see most of you in a week!

A few pics of sweet Caroline--a little snow angel.

I had not adjusted my camera settings when I started snapping a few pictures, but I just loved how her sweet blue eyes glow against the snow.

Snow! Snow! Snow!

So, we were a little giddy about our first real snow experience (we did have flurries the day we moved in, but nothing like we experienced this weekend).

In case you were wondering, the Dutch were still pedaling away on their bicycles.

Snow y'all!

This is our street.

And the other direction.

His expression was too cute!

Can't post without a picture of Graham eating something...
Jason taught Graham how to throw snowballs at me.

About this time is when he realized the gloves we tried to get him to wear actually served a purpose...

Trying to build Frosty
Graham refuses to wear gloves and Jason sports mine.

Waiting on Trains...

Today is moving day.  We knew our stay here would be short until our house in Groningen/Haren became available.  Well our "new house" (this is what Graham refers to the house) is finally available and I know of one little boy who is sure to miss city life.  Our little train watcher....day and night, night and day.  This makes me a bit sad too.

Christmas Holidays in Holland

We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  Here are a few photos from our Christmas in The Netherlands.   Happy New Year!

Cowboy boots and ice skates

Cheers!
Our modest Christmas Eve family gumbo dinner
Graham enjoyed his!

We tried to get a few pictures of the two of them together, but this is the best we could get.
Graham picked out the tree and Jason put the lights on and we hung a few ornaments from our travels and from the thrift store.
Santa resting up for the big night ahead.
