When one thinks Dutch, one usually thinks cheese, tulips, windmills, or wooden shoes. So with Jason's mom and sister in country, it was a week of all things Dutch.
Naturally, our first stop was a drive down south to the flatlands and the tulip-town of Lisse. Lisse is home to the largest flower gardens in the world, Keukenhof Gardens, and the annual tulip parade. While the vivid images of tulips across the horizon played out long before we arrived in Lisse, these blooming beds are truly fields of dreams. So for now, I will let the photos narrate why the Dutch are crazy about their tulips.
