Well we went east, and still no signs of spring. Instead of dawning our Easter whites, it was more of the same...bundled up with hats and scarves and overcoats. I guess the shorts and sandals will just have to stay put in the basement for a few more months...sigh!!
The only trace of Easter white could be seen high above on the Bavarian mountain tops. The German Alps were covered with beautiful white powder, so suffice to say, it was just a different Easter white experience minus the lilies and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups! Oh well, it was a still fun-filled trip with lots of family memories, cold-weather ice cream, and an Easter visit to the train museum!
